OPAP ASH MONDAY AT THE MARKOPOULO RACETRACK

Following last year’s event, on Ash Monday at March 11, the Markopoulo Racetrack will be filled with kites, colours, music and smiling children!

OPAP invites all ages in a day full of spectacle for the entire family.

From 10:30 a.m. until sunset, a series of fun activities, will offer a unique experience.

Kites lab, bouncing games, pony rides, bike riding lessons and many more surprises.

Throughout the day, the Kite Parade team will present an exciting aerial show with colourful impressive kites. Octopuses and squids, horses and ladybugs, as well as many more imaginative aerial constructions will fill the sky with colours and stimulate the imagination.

Following Ash Monday’s culinary habits, the visitors will have a selection of cantinas or may choose to have a picnic.

Great, free space where all ages will be able to fly kites.

Free entrance, free parking and free participation in all activities and children’s’ games.

The event is held under the auspices of the Municipality of Markopoulo.
